Ok, this is no April fool’s joke. Starting April 1st, I am endeavouring to do a 30 day NO SUGAR challenge. I’ve read about people who have been successful with this challenge — fair dues to them!! In addition, I’ll consume one salad per day AND 30 mins. exercise (not housework!!). Daily walk would be best as I HATE the gym with a passion! I’m too sensitive to torture vibes around me and cannot abide fighting for exercise machines and sitting on sweaty bikes after some hairy man has moved on to the weight bearing machines — UGH!!

I’m a bit like the late Joan Rivers in the exercise department. As soon as I see a jogger with a smile on his face, I may take it up!!

During the month of April, I’ll be facing some sugar challenges, starting with my book launch on April 12th — I will be serving refreshments to folks with a sweet tooth. Then, of course, on April 19th, my beloved Kevin’s birthday…and then April 24th is another friend’s birthday… Sure, there will always be a good excuse to eat sugar. I consumed copious amounts of chocolate over the Easter and was as high as a kite. I enjoyed every single chocolate yummy, but felt guilty as hell afterwards because I know it isn’t good for me, and the weighing scales confirmed my worst fears!

Here goes…tomorrow, April Fool’s Day, I begin my 30 Day Challenge…
